Welcome to this site. I am PhD in Political Science from the University of Murcia, with a thesis on political parties and the selection of party leaders. Previously, I completed a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Murcia and a Master's degree in Politics and Democracy at UNED, Madrid.
Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the European School of Political and Social Sciences (ESPOL) at the Catholic University of Lille, developing the project The transformations of political parties during the digital age, with Dr Giulia Sandri and Dr Oscar Barberà as supervisors. This project is funded by a Margarita Salas grant, thanks to the European Commission (NextGenerationEU), the Government of Spain and the University of Murcia.
My research interests span across political parties, political leadership, digital politics, elections, political communication and security policies. I am part of ESPOL-Lab research center, the Digital Parties and Politics Research Network (DPPRN), the editorial board of the journal Más Poderl Local and the public opinion studies center CEMOP.
Please, feel free to navigate this site and learn more about my research, teaching and projects, or contact me.
